| My
husband and I are residents of LeClaire and both are Pleasant
Valley graduates. We have three sons,
Matt, Luke and Nick, who graduated from and wrestled for Pleasant
Valley. This is currently my 26th year working for the Pleasant Valley School District. I began working at the high
school Activities/Athletic Office as a part time (eventually full time) secretary while the boys were at
school, it was a job I enjoyed very much. After my youngest
son graduated, I moved to a job at PV Junior High. While at the
junior high, I discovered that I truly enjoyed working with the
students. When this position developed, I jumped at the chance to not
only work with the students, but go out into the community and try to join
the two with service. I feel very fortunate that I have
been given the opportunity to start this new program. It has been a great
experience. I have seen first hand what giving does for young
people. I hope you take the time to enjoy some of the pictures on
the other pages. As of September 1, 20111, PV students have given
over 166,000 hours of service to our community, our nation and our world.
