Hopewell Elementary Update

While construction will continue as planned at the Hopewell site, the decision has been made to delay the opening of Hopewell from the 2010-2011 school year to the 2011-2012 school year because of the significant impact of state budget cuts.

Ms. Judkins has been with the Pleasant Valley School District for the past 19 years. She worked as a 4th grade teacher at Riverdale Heights for fourteen years. Ms. Judkins was the Dean of Students at Riverdale Heights and Pleasant View for three years, and she has been working as the Director of Reading for grades K-8 since the fall of 2008.

As she helps plan for the opening of the building, Ms. Judkins remarks, "I am looking forward to my new position and to meeting the Hopewell students and their families."
