  • 87% of graduates pursue post secondary education with 3/4 of those attending four year colleges and universities.

  • Seven Pleasant Valley High School seniors named as National Merit Semifinalists for the current (2010-2011) school year alone. The most recent five year history indicates a total of 33 students have received this distinction.

  • Class of 2010 ACT composite average - 24.4 as to the state composite of 22.2.

  • Student proficiency percentages on the ITBS and ITED far surpassing the state averages.

  • Unique learning opportunities provided at each level:
    • Elementary
      • Emphasis on a balanced approach to teaching literacy
      • Focus on mathematical problem solving and authentic application
      • Hands-on science opportunities K-6; taught by a science specialist in grades 3-6
