Bruce Braley - Congressman

Davenport, Iowa

Volunteers needed

Congressman Bruce Braley of Iowa seeks high school students for internships in his Davenport office.  General duties include answering phones, responding to constituent mail, researching various issues in support of staff, and helping staff with small projects. Interns also have the opportunity, depending on scheduling availability, to help organize and attend events with the Congressman. Applicants should possess an outgoing personality and strong written and verbal communications skills. This internship is unpaid; however, students who are eligible for Service Learning credit at their school can fulfill some of that requirement by making arrangements with staff. For more information or to set up an interview, please contact Katie Kluever at Katie.kluever@mail.house.gov or 563-323-5988.
