Service-Learning is a Pleasant Valley High School  graduation requirement.

• Service-Learning is a blend of community service and learning activities so that both occur and are enriched by the other.  Youth participation in Service-Learning programs performs a needed community service that builds, utilizes or provides a framework for academic and civic skills.  The services can be provided within the school walls or in the community.
  

• Service-Learning gives students opportunities to learn by preparing, leading, and reflecting on their service experience.
